Efficient Cotton Collection and Unloading
McCormack Industries has revolutionized cotton module handling with the Cotton Tag Trailer. Towed behind a tractor, it uses a similar grab arm concept to the Wheelie Grab to collect and lift cotton modules onto the trailer. The modules are unloaded neatly in a line, allowing them to be easily loaded onto chain bed or flatbed trucks. The trailer’s chain-driven bed and tipping chassis enable the operator to unload modules with full control, increasing safety and efficiency by unloading in groups of six.
Controlled via tractor-mounted cab controls using the tractor remotes, this system offers several advantages over traditional retrievers. It reduces tractor wear and operator fatigue, as the tractor always travels forward. It also minimizes time spent in the field by collecting three modules per trip and improves operator visibility, enhancing safety for both the operator and other vehicles in the paddock.
